Oliver is located in the heart of the South Okanagan and is known as the Wine Capital of Canada. Named after John Oliver, premier of British Columbia in the early 1900s, this bustling community, once a gold mining town, is today the hub of activity in the South Okanagan. Hike with the South Okanagan Naturalists Club or ski on some of the best powder at Mount Baldy. There’s world class golf at Fairview Mountain, and fabulous wineries all along the Golden Mile.
